Project of GGE is in the Top 5 of the European Geothermal Innovation Award 2018!
The project „Temperature Sensor Module for Groundwater flow detection around borehole heat exchangers“ of GGE is one of the Top 5 “Geothermal Innovation Projects of 2018“!
The European Geothermal Innovation Award is an initiative from EGEC, the European Geothermal Energy Council, in collaboration with Messe Offenburg, organisers of the GeoTHERM expo & congress.
19 different companies and research institutes from around Europe applied with projects, aiming to innovate, increase efficiency and reduce costs in geothermal energy. According to Philippe Dumas, EGEC General Secretary, the exceptional quality of the applications was remarkable, which for him is an important recognition for the vitality of the geothermal energy sector and the growth of the award.
A Jury, consisting of 5 members from France, Italy, Germany and Spain, will now deliberate to select an overall winner which will be announced on 1st March at the GeoTHERM expo & congress in Offenburg (Germany).
